Punto Banco Standards

Baccarat is enjoyed with eight decks in a dealing shoe. Cards under ten are counted at their printed number and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the sum of the two cards, however the first digit is dropped. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a score of one (5 plus six = eleven; drop the initial ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be given using the rules below:

- If the player or bank has a value of 8 or nine, both players stand.

- If the gambler has less than five, she hits. Players holds otherwise.

- If the player holds, the banker takes a card on five or lower. If the player takes a card, a guide is used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the 2 hands wins. Winning wagers on the bank payout 19:20 (even payout minus a 5 percent commission. Commission are recorded and cleared out when you quit the game so make sure you still have cash around just before you depart). Winning wagers on the gambler pay 1:1. Winning bets for tie normally pays 8 to 1 but on occasion nine to one. (This is a awful wager as ties happen lower than one in every ten rounds. Be cautious of gambling on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

Played correctly baccarat gives fairly good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Banque Scheme

As with all games Baccarat has some accepted false impressions. One of which is close to a myth in roulette. The past is not an indicator of events about to happen. Keeping track of past outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.

The most common and probably the most favorable course of action is the one, three, two, six tactic. This technique is deployed to build up profits and minimizing risk.

Start by placing 1 chip. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the game table for a total of three chips on the second bet. If you succeed you will have 6 on the table, remove four so you are left with 2 on the 3rd wager. Should you succeed on the 3rd round, deposit 2 on the four on the game table for a total of six on the fourth round.

If you do not win on the 1st wager, you take a hit of one. A profit on the initial wager followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a hit of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a defeat on the third gives you with a profit of 2. And success on the first three with a loss on the 4th means you are even. Winning at all 4 bets gives you with twelve, a take of 10. This means you can lose the second bet five instances for each favorable streak of four bets and in the end, are even.
