Punto Banco Principles
Baccarat chemin de fer is played with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below ten are worth their printed value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The score for every hand is the sum of the cards, however the beginning number is discarded. e.g., a hand of 5 and 6 has a score of one (five plus 6 = eleven; ditch the first ‘one’).
A 3rd card may be given using the following rules:
- If the gambler or banker has a value of eight or nine, both players stand.
- If the player has less than five, he hits. Players otherwise hold.
- If the player stands, the house hits on a value less than five. If the gambler takes a card, a table is used to determine if the banker holds or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The better of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out 19:20 (even payout less a 5 percent rake. Commission are recorded and paid off when you depart the table so make sure you still have cash around just before you depart). Winning bets on the gambler pays out at one to one. Winning bets for tie typically pays out at 8:1 but occasionally 9:1. (This is a awful bet as ties occur less than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be wary of putting money on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly greater for nine to one vs. eight to one)
Gambled on properly baccarat banque provides generally decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.
Punto Banco Scheme
As with all games baccarat banque has a handful of general misunderstandings. One of which is close to a myth in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of future actions. Recording previous outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and an affront to the tree that gave its life for our paper needs.
The most established and definitely the most acknowledged method is the one-three-two-six method. This method is deployed to maximize earnings and minimizing losses.
Start by betting 1 chip. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the table for a grand total of 3 units on the second bet. If you win you will now have 6 on the table, pull off 4 so you are left with two on the 3rd bet. If you win the 3rd wager, put down two on the 4 on the game table for a grand total of six on the 4th round.
If you do not win on the 1st bet, you take a hit of one. A win on the first wager followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a hit of 2. Success on the initial two with a defeat on the third provides you with a take of 2. And success on the first three with a loss on the fourth means you experience no loss. Winning all four rounds leaves you with twelve, a take of 10. This means you will be able to give up the 2nd bet 5 instances for each successful streak of four rounds and still break even.
