Punto Banco Codes
Punto banco is gambled on with 8 decks in a shoe. Cards valued less than ten are counted at their printed number while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand is the total of the cards, however the beginning number is dropped. For example, a hand of 5 and six has a score of one (5 plus 6 equals 11; ditch the first ‘1′).
A third card may be given out using the rules below:
- If the gambler or bank has a score of 8 or 9, the two players hold.
- If the gambler has less than 5, he hits. Players otherwise hold.
- If the gambler stays, the house takes a card on 5 or lower. If the player hits, a table is employed to determine if the house stays or takes a card.
Punto Banco Odds
The higher of the two scores wins. Winning bets on the bank payout 19:20 (equal money minus a five percent rake. The Rake is tracked and cleared out when you leave the game so be sure to have cash around just before you head out). Winning bets on the gambler pays out at one to one. Winning bets for tie typically pay 8:1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a bad bet as ties happen lower than 1 in every 10 rounds. Avoid gambling on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for 9 to 1 versus eight to one)
Gambled on properly baccarat provides relatively good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Punto Banco Scheme
As with all games punto banco has quite a few common misconceptions. One of which is the same as a absurdity in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of future events. Keeping track of past results on a page of paper is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary needs.
The most common and probably the most favorable method is the one, three, two, six tactic. This method is used to maximize earnings and minimizing losses.
Begin by placing one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of three chips on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away four so you are left with two on the third round. Should you come away with a win on the 3rd bet, deposit two to the 4 on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth round.
Should you do not win on the first wager, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the 1st round followed by a hit on the second brings about a loss of 2. Success on the 1st two with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th means you break even. Succeeding at all four bets leaves you with 12, a gain of ten. This means you are able to lose the 2nd wager 5 instances for every favorable streak of four bets and in the end, break even.
