Baccarat Banque Codes
Baccarat banque is enjoyed with 8 decks in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth their printed value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).
Two cards are given to both the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The value for every hand is the sum total of the two cards, although the first digit is dumped. For example, a hand of 5 and 6 has a value of one (5 plus six = eleven; ditch the 1st ‘1′).
A third card will be given out using the rules below:
- If the player or banker achieves a value of eight or nine, both players stay.
- If the player has less than five, she takes a card. Players holds otherwise.
- If the player holds, the bank hits on five or less. If the player hits, a guide is employed to determine if the bank holds or takes a card.

The higher of the two hands wins. Winning bets on the house pay out nineteen to Twenty (even payout less a 5% commission. Winning bets for tie usually pay 8 to 1 but on occasion 9:1. (This is a bad bet as ties happen lower than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be cautious of betting on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for nine to one vs. 8:1)

Punto Banco Strategy
