Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards than are of a value less than 10 are counted at their printed number meanwhile ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they merely represent the two hands to be played).

Two hands of 2 cards will now be given to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for each hand shall be the sum of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is removed. For eg, a hand of seven and 5 produces a value of two (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card might be played depending on the following protocols:

- If the bettor or banker has a total of eight or nine, then both bettors stand.

- If the gambler has five or less, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the player hits, a chart will be used in order to judge if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores will be the winner. Successful wagers on the banker pay out nineteen to 20 (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so ensure you have dollars remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie commonly pay out 8 to one but occasionally nine to 1. (This is a crazy gamble as ties occur lower than one every 10 hands. Run away from betting on a tie. However odds are considerably better – 9 to one vs. eight to one)

Played smartly, baccarat offers fairly decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some common misunderstandings. 1 of which is close to a roulette myth. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future results. Keeping track of past outcomes on a chart is a total waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most established and possibly most successful method is the one-3-two-6 method. This tactic is employed to magnify payouts and controlling risk.

start by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away four so you have two on the third bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a sum total of 6 on the fourth wager.

If you lose on the initial bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Accomplishing a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. Thus that you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
