Baccarat Rules

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards than are of a value less than ten are valued at their printed number while ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they just act as the two hands to be dealt).

2 hands of 2 cards shall then be played to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for every hand shall be the total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of seven and five will have a value of 2 (7plusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card could be given out depending on the following rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a value of 8 or 9, both players stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or less, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart is used to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores wins. Victorious wagers on the banker payout nineteen to 20 (even odds less a five % commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so make sure you have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie as a rule pay out eight to 1 but occasionally 9 to one. (This is a crazy wager as ties occur lower than 1 every ten hands. abstain from betting on a tie. Regardless odds are considerably better – nine to 1 versus eight to one)

When played properly, baccarat provides generally decent odds, away from the tie wager obviously.

Baccarat Strategy

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some common false impressions. 1 of which is very similar to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way an indicator of future events. Tracking of past conclusions on a chart is for sure a waste of paper … an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most common and possibly most successful tactic is the 1-three-two-six technique. This plan is employed to increase payouts and minimizing risk.

start by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd gamble. If you win the third bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a total of six on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the second creates a loss of 2. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Getting a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. In other words you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
