Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under ten are give a value of their printed value and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they strictly act as the two hands to be given out).

2 hands of 2 cards shall then be dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for any hand is the sum total of the two cards, but the first digit is removed. For eg, a hand of seven … 5 results in a value of 2 (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be played depending on the foll. practices:

- If the bettor or banker has a total of 8 or nine, both bettors stand.

- If the player has five or less, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart might be used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores is the winner. Winning bets on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so ensure you have $$$$$ left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winner bets for tie generally pays out at eight to 1 but occasionally nine to one. (This is a bad gamble as ties occur less than one every 10 hands. Run away from putting money on a tie. Regardless odds are generously better – nine to 1 vs. eight to one)

Played effectively, baccarat offers generally decent odds, away from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about every games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. One of which is quite similar to a roulette misconception. The past is not a predictor of future results. Tracking of previous outcomes on a chart is a waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most commonly used and probably most successful technique is the one-3-2-six method. This schema is used to pump up profits and limiting risk.

commence by betting 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd wager. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the four on the table for a value of six on the fourth gamble.

If you don’t win on the first bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second will create a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Accomplishing a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Thus that you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
